Job Blast Reach, Frequency, and Placement

  1. Job Blast provides recruiters in the investment management community access to the best audience of qualified candidates available. Candidates are subscribers to FundFire, Ignites, Ignites Europe and/or Ignites Asia, the top news services for the money management industry. A Job Blast ad gets your open position in front of our audiences, who are already employed in the investment management industry and include those elusive passive candidates who don’t regularly visit job boards.
  2. The number of potential candidates who will see your ad is dependent upon which Job Blast publication website your Job Blast ad was posted on:
    • Ignites and FundFire – ads posted via either Ignites Job Blast or FundFire Job Blast will be viewed for 4 weeks by more than 140,000 currently employed finance professionals, all of whom are subscribers to Ignites and/or FundFire. In addition, your ad will be blasted out daily for 1 week in more than 117,000 daily headlines emails. (About 28,000 receive both publications daily, doubling your ad’s impression to approximately 20% of our audience.).
    • Ignites Europe - ads posted via Ignites Job Blast will be viewed for 4 weeks by more than 20,000 currently employed finance professionals, all of whom are subscribers to Ignites Europe. In addition, your ad will be blasted out daily for 1 week in more than 15,000 daily headlines emails.
    • Ignites Asia - ads posted via Ignites Asia Job Blast will be viewed for 4 weeks by more than 14,000 currently employed finance professionals, all of whom are subscribers to Ignites Asia. In addition, your ad will be blasted out daily for 1 week in more than 11,000 daily headlines emails.
  3. No, all ads are placed within the emails and on the websites strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
  4. Job Blast ads are included in the daily emails for one business week beginning on Monday (if a nationally recognized holiday falls on a Monday, the ads will be including in the daily emails beginning on Tuesday). New ads are limited to 20 per week and run on a first-come-first-serve basis. For example, job ads purchased on a Tuesday will begin their run the following week — assuming that there is space available. Please note that overwhelming demand for Job Blast may delay the inclusion of new ads in the daily headlines email. In addition, ads from any one firm are limited to 3 ads per week.

  5. Job Blast ads are updated every Monday on all websites (FundFire, Ignites, Ignites Europe and Ignites Asia). Ads remain accessible for 4-weeks. As with the inclusion of Job Blast ads in the daily headlines emails, new ads on the websites are limited to 20 per week and run on a first-come-first-serve basis. In addition, ads from any one firm are limited to 3 ads per week.
  6. Anyone, including non-subscribers, has access to Job Blast ads on the FundFire, Ignites, Ignites Europe and Ignites Asia websites.

Buying an Ad on Job Blast

  1. Ads may be purchased one at a time or as part of a discounted Multi-ad Package. Options are as follows:
    • The cost of a single ad placement - $495
    • 5-ad Package - $2,350 (5% discount; effectively $470.00 per ad)
    • 10-ad Package - $4,455 (10% discount; effectively $445.50 per ad)
    • 15-ad Package - $6,310 (15% discount; effectively $420.67 per ad)
    • 20-ad Package - $7,920 (20% discount; effectively $396.00 per ad)

    Dependent upon the Job Blast publication website your Job Blast ad was posted on, you will get:
    • Ignites and FundFire– ads posted via either Ignites Job Blast or Ignites Job Blast will be live on the Ignites and FundFire websites for 4-weeks. In addition, your ad will be blasted out daily for 1-week in more than 117,000 FundFire and Ignites daily headlines emails. (About 28,000 subscribers receive both publications’ daily headlines emails, doubling your ad’s impression to approximately 20% of our audience.). Job Blast ads are also included in the once-weekly Ignites People email and are included in FundFire Breaking News email or Ignites Breaking News email which is sent only when news warrants.
    • Ignites Europe - ads posted via Ignites Europe Job Blast will be live on the Ignites Europe website for 4-weeks. In addition, your ad will be blasted out daily for 1 week in more than 15,000 Ignites Europe daily headlines emails. Job Blast ads are also included in the once-weekly Ignites Europe People email and are included in Ignites Europe Breaking News email which is sent only when news warrants.
    • Ignites Asia - ads posted via Ignites Asia Job Blast will be live on the Ignites Asia website for 4-weeks. In addition, your ad will be blasted out daily for 1 week in more than 11,000 Ignites Asia daily headlines emails. Job Blast ads are also included in the once-weekly Ignites Asia People email and are included in Ignites Asia Breaking News email which is sent only when news warrants.

    Please note: Payment in full is expected within 30 days of a Multi-ad Package purchase. No more than 3 ads purchased as part of any Multi-ad Package may be posted prior to receipt of full payment.
  2. Ads may be used at anytime within one year from the date of purchase. Once they are posted, they will run in the emails for one week and on the sites for four weeks. We then mark that ad as having been posted and move it to the Posted Job Blast Ads section of the My Job Listings page. The My Job Listings page also indicates the expiration date of all unposted ads.
  3. If you are paying by credit card for your order, upon completion of the order placement process and before you start posting your job description, you will receive a confirmation email which will contain the following information: order number, quantity of ads purchased, total cost, last 4 digits of the credit card used to purchase the ad(s), name, and your address information.
  4. We retain all your account information except your credit card. Our credit card processing is secured by VeriSign. For security purposes, however, we don’t want to retain credit card information on the site.
  5. American Express, Visa and MasterCard.
  6. Yes, we use VeriSign to guarantee the safety of this information. Job Blast takes credit card information security seriously and uses a variety of technical solutions to make transactions safe. Our secure server software encrypts your credit card number, ensuring that your transactions stay private and protected. It transmits it to VeriSign using Secure Socket Layers (SSL), which guarantees the safety of this information. We do not store a copy of the credit card number on our site. Once you enter a credit card number, we will never display the entire card number again.

  8. We reject ads for two reasons. If our experience indicates better ways to phrase a post, we’ll offer you suggestions to improve the quality of response. We want you to get the response you deserve for this premium service. We will also reject any post that we deem offensive, libelous, or that uses a job title that differs significantly from its description (i.e., bait-and-switch). Posting an Ad with Job Blast

  1. Advertisers new to Job Blast will first need to register on the site where they want their ad to appear:
    After registration, you will be able to post an ad by clicking on Purchase New Job Blast Ads in the menu. During this process you will be prompted for the following: number of ads you are purchasing; billing information (will default to the information you supplied when registering, so make the necessary modifications as needed); User Agreement (be sure to check the box next to the "I have read and agree to the User Agreement" statement); method of credit card payment (please contact Jobblast Support at +1 212 542 1234 during the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM (EST); contact Divine Feliciano at +63 2 9825739 during the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM (HKT) if you wish to be invoiced). At the completion of the purchase process, you can begin the actual posting process.
    If you have already registered and purchased Job Blast slot(s), click here to access the job ad slots that you’ve already purchased. Click on one of your available ads to fill in the Post a Job form.
  2. If you would like your ad to be seen solely by a US candidate pool, post your ad via Ignites Job Blast or FundFire Job Blast so that the ad appears only on Ignites and FundFire. Ads posted on Ignites Europe Job Blast are accessible to Ignites Europe subscribers; in addition Ignites Europe subscribers have access to US jobs through a link on the Ignites Europe Job Blast page. Ads posted on Ignites Asia Job Blast are accessible to Ignites Asia subscribers; in addition Ignites Asia subscribers have access to US jobs through a link on the Ignites Asia Job Blast page. An ad posted on Ignites Europe or Ignites Asia is not directly accessible to Ignites subscribers through the Ignites Job Blast page or to FundFire subscribers through the FundFire Job Blast page.
  3. There is no limit to the number of words/characters used in the actual job description and in the "Apply for this Job" field. There is, however, a limit of 255 characters (including spaces) in the "Short Description". The Short Description is an informational blurb which is included in the email sent from a Job Blast visitor alerting someone in their professional network about a Job Blast ad that may be of interest to them.
  4. Yes, there is a box on the posting page which, when checked, will eliminate your firm’s name from your posting. We do suggest that you ensure that there are no other references within your posting that could indicate your firm name to ensure anonymity. We also suggest that you set up a non-identifiable email address - perhaps through Gmail - to ensure that your firm can’t be identified through your firm email address. Please be aware that some candidates may not wish to forward a resume to an unknown firm.
  5. Yes, space is provided on the "Post a Job" page for you to enter a URL allowing interested candidates to be directly linked to an ad on your firm’s website or to another webpage where your ad is posted.
  6. Once an ad is approved and you have received an email indicating approval, you will need to cancel the ad.
  7. Rejected ads have not been approved and/or posted, therefore you still have an opportunity to run a future Job Blast ad. We will not issue a refund.
  8. If your ad is appearing in a publication where Job Blast appears and:
    • Your firm is a licensee of that particular publication you will automatically receive the emails containing your ad if you are a subscriber.
    • If your firm is a licensee but you have not subscribed, let us know and we will contact our Customer Support department to assist you in arranging a subscription.
    • If your firm is not a licensee, contact us and we will arrange a complimentary subscription which will be in effect for the length of your ad run.
  9. You have the ability to edit some, but not all, of the information in an already posted ad - the short description, the complete description and the apply to information. If the job’s title, location or category requires modification you will need to contact Jobblast Support at +1 212 542 1234 during the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM (EST); contact Divine Feliciano at +63 2 9825739 during the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM (HKT). You can edit any portion of an unposted job until it is approved.
  10. Yes. On your "My Job Listings" page, all posted and unposted Job Blast ads are listed. To the far right of a posted ad is an X. When you click the X the page will refresh and you will have the option to permanently cancel the ad or go back and leave the ad as is. By clicking "Yes, Cancel It" you will receive a message confirming that the ad has been canceled. You then have the option to return to the "My Listings Page", where the ad will now appear under the heading "Canceled Job Blast Ads".
  11. Yes, but you’ll have to place your ad for the normal 4 week ad posting and then go back to cancel it on a date of your choice within that 4 week period. [See "Can an ad be removed before the scheduled end date?" above]
  12. Yes. You can extend an ad’s run by purchasing another job ad for it.
  13. Typically, you should supply the client’s company name on the registration form. We use the Company Name field in the registration process to fill out job descriptions.
